ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

 (01 January – 30 November 2009)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

          This report covers the administrative and operational accomplishment of Police Regional Office 8 for the period 01 January to 30 November 2009. The basis is the program of action capsulated in CPNP’s Program Thrust.

          For the period, the Total Crime Volume (TCV) reported is 2,376 incidents.  This figure is 498 incidents higher as compared to the same period of last year which is posted at 1,878.  Of this figure, 1,395 are categorized as index crimes while 981 are non-index crimes.  As compared to the same period of last year, there is an increase of 279 incidents in the index and an increase of 219 incidents in the non-index crimes respectively.

          The reported 1,395 index crimes were classified into crimes against person which consist of 1,038 incidents while 357 incidents are crimes against property.  Of the 1,038 reported crimes against person, 360 are attributed to murder, 89 are homicide cases, 479 for physical injuries while 110 are rape cases.  On the other hand, of the reported 357 crimes against property, 112 are robbery cases, 228 for theft, 14 for carnapping while 3 accounted for cattle rustling cases. 

          Of the 2,376 crimes reported for the period, 1,015 cases were promptly solved.  This translates to a Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE) of 42.72%.

 

A. ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENT

       1. Personnel Management

       PRO 8 has a current Uniformed Personnel component of 379 PCOs, 4,772 PNCOs for a total of 5,151 Uniformed Personnel complimented by 127 Non-Uniformed Personnel assigned to RHQs, 6 Police Provincial Office, 2 City Police Office and 1 Regional Mobile Group as follows:

  

   

       2. COMPLAN/LOI Patnubay

          For the period, the Regional Office received a total of 95 administrative cases for an average of 9 cases per month. Of this total, 70 cases were resolved excluding the cases that were received previously for a 73.68% Administrative Case Resolution Efficiency (ACRE).
